Train Cancelled: Heads up for travelers heading to Jaipur! There’s some big work happening on the Phulera–Ringas–Rewari stretch of the Jaipur division of North Western Railway. This construction is taking place between Ateli, Mirzapur, Bachhod, and Narnaul stations. It’s all about boosting train speed and efficiency down the line. But for now, it might be a bit of a hassle for passengers.

Right now, non-interlocking work is in progress on this section, which means several trains are temporarily cancelled, some are being rerouted, and a few are only partially terminating. The Railways is advising everyone to check their train status before heading out to dodge any last-minute issues.

Trains cancelled due to this reason

The railway is doing non-interlocking work on this route. For the safety of passengers, some trains have been completely cancelled, while others are running on different routes. Shashi Kiran, the Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, mentioned that this decision came after careful technical planning and safety evaluations.

Keeping normal operations going while changes to tracks, signals, and control systems are made can be dangerous. To prevent any accidents or disruptions, the Railways has put a temporary hold on train operations. Passengers are encouraged to check their train status before they travel.

The following trains have been cancelled:

Phulera–Rewari and Rewari–Madar Express

The Railways has announced the cancellation of train number 19621, the Phulera–Rewari Express, from January 18 to February 15. This means the train will not operate for a total of 29 trips during this timeframe. Likewise, the 19618 Rewari–Madar Express will also be cancelled for 29 trips in the same period. As these are regular services, daily commuters are likely to be the most affected.

Rewari–Ringas Special and Ringas–Rewari Special

In addition, the Railways has temporarily suspended two special trains. Train No. 09637 Rewari–Ringas Special and Train No. 09638 Ringas–Rewari Special will not run for seven trips each, starting from January 18th. These services are crucial for local and commuter passengers, who may need to find alternative trains or bus options.

Godda-Daurai Express will operate on a modified route.

Train No. 19604 Godda–Daurai Express will take a different route on January 20 and 27, as well as February 3 and 10. Instead of its usual path of Rewari–Ringas–Phulera, the train will now travel via Rewari–Alwar–Jaipur–Phulera. During this period, it will stop at Alwar, Bandikui, Gandhinagar–Jaipur, and Jaipur stations.

Changes to Delhi-Jaisalmer and Chandigarh-Bandra Terminus train routes

Furthermore, train number 14087 Delhi–Jaisalmer Express will follow a modified route for 29 trips from January 18 to February 15. Similarly, train number 22452 Chandigarh–Bandra Terminus Express will also operate on a changed route for nine trips. The Railways has advised passengers to verify the live status of their trains before heading out to prevent any last-minute issues.
