January-February Train Cancellations: The country is experiencing severe cold these days, and its impact is now clearly visible on the railway’s operations. Fog and cold are already affecting train speeds. Meanwhile, the ongoing large-scale railway infrastructure upgrades are likely to further exacerbate passenger inconvenience. Automatic block signaling systems are scheduled to be installed on several routes of the Northern Railway and North Western Railway in the coming days.
Due to this work, trips on more than 250 trains will be cancelled, short-terminated, diverted, or deregulated. Therefore, passengers with pre-booked tickets will need to reconsider their travel plans. For those planning a trip, it’s crucial to check the latest train schedule and timings before leaving home.

According to information received from the Railways, several trains will be affected in the coming days due to a major infrastructure upgrade. An automatic block signaling system is being installed as part of the doubling project between Dobh Bhali, Lahli, and Kalanaur Kalan stations on the Bhiwani-Rohtak section of the Bikaner Division. This work will impact traffic on some routes.
Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of the North Western Railway, stated that several train services will be cancelled, diverted, or regulated due to technical work. Northern Railway also stated that some trains in the Bikaner division will be temporarily diverted to other routes as patch doubling and signaling work begins. The railways stated that this step is necessary to improve safety and operations.

Train No. 54016, the Bhiwani-Rohtak train, will be cancelled from January 27 to February 16.
Train number 54013, the Rohtak-Bhiwani train, will be cancelled from January 27 to February 16.

Train No. 54018, the Bhiwani-Rohtak train, will be cancelled from January 27 to February 16.
Train number 54015, the Rohtak-Bhiwani train, will be cancelled from January 26 to February 15.
