ATM PIN Forget: A unique 4-digit PIN is essential for using your ATM card. Sometimes people forget their PIN or need to set a PIN for a new card. State Bank of India and other banks allow account holders to change or generate their debit card PINs themselves. If you have also forgotten your ATM PIN or want to create a new one, it can be done through these easy steps.

How to Generate a PIN from an ATM Booth

First, go to your bank’s ATM booth. Insert your card into the machine and select your preferred language. An option to “Generate PIN” will appear on the screen; select it. Then enter your registered mobile number. If the machine asks for your date of birth, enter it in DD/MM/YY format. A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number; enter it. Now you can choose your new PIN and confirm it.
