After moving to another state, it is crucial to update your new address in your vehicle’s documents. This makes it easier to claim insurance in the future. If a vehicle accident occurs and the address registered in the RC (Registration Certificate) is different, the insurance company may delay processing the claim. Therefore, updating your RC and other documents with your new address is in your best interest.
