Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made a stellar debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, putting aside his defeat to Pakistan in the Under-19 Asia Cup final. He smashed a century in just 36 balls against Arunachal Pradesh. His innings was filled with sixes and fours. Most importantly, Vaibhav Suryavanshi showcased his explosive innings against Arunachal Pradesh in Dhoni’s home ground, the match being played in Ranchi.

Opening for Bihar in the very first match of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26, Vaibhav Suryavanshi tore apart the Arunachal Pradesh bowlers. He reached his century off just 36 balls, hitting 10 fours and 8 sixes. That was just the beginning of his century, but his innings continued beyond that.
