2026 MG Hector Facelift: MG Hector has long been a strong name in the Indian SUV segment. Now that the combat has intensified, MG Motor India has increased eagerness by showing a glimpse of the 2026 MG Hector Facelift.
A recent teaser has veiled the SUV’s cabin this time. While earlier there were signs of changes in exteriors, subtle but effective updates are now coming out in the interior. This teaser, which came just before the debut, clears that MG is preparing to make Hector more premium according to the new round.

Cabin
The biggest reveal in the latest teaser is the brown leather upholstery. This new color tone on the seats and dashboard gives the cabin more warmth and luxury feel. MG is now believed to be saying goodbye to the white leather upholstery found in the 5-seater Hector. White may look great, but the brown shed proves to be practical and easy to maintain for a long time.
Teaser also has a three-row layout of the SUV, which clearly points to Hector Plus. This combination of brown and black was already present in Hector Plus, but with the facelift it is expected to get a more refined touch.

Design
MG has focused on the soft elements of the cabin rather than changing the basic layout. The overall design of the dashboard will remain similar to the current Hector, but new materials and finishes will give it a fresh look. The familiar identity is retained, but the experience is completely new.
Features
Although MG has not yet confirmed the full list of features, expectations are high. Touchscreen infotainment system with facelift, digital instrument cluster and connected car technology can be seen to improve.
ADAS technology can also be updated, especially in top variants. MG also finds this step necessary because models like Mahindra XUV700 and Tata Harrier and Safari are constantly moving in terms of features. Hector Facelift will have to become smarter and safer to stay in this race.

New alloy wheels
The teaser also confirms a new alloy wheel design. Wheels can instantly transform the look of any SUV, and MG understands this well. With the new alloy wheels, the Hector Facelift will have an even stronger road presence, especially from the side profile.

Engine
If we talk about the engine, there will be no change in the engine. It is also expected to continue in the same 1.5-liter turbo petrol and 2.0-liter diesel engine facelift. Both the petrol engine manual and CVT will be found in the gearbox option, while the diesel version will come with a manual transmission.
