Exam Details

The SBI Clerk Mains examination in November 2025 consisted of 190 questions, each carrying 200 marks. A penalty of one-fourth of a mark was deducted for each incorrect answer. Negative marking of one-fourth of a mark was applicable for every wrong answer. Candidates who cleared the preliminary exam were called for the main exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be graduates from a recognised institution. The candidate’s age should be between 20 and 28 years, with a date of birth between April 2, 1996, and April 1, 2004. Candidates who pass the main exam must take a Local Language Proficiency Test. After completing all these stages, the final results will be announced.

Salary Details

Upon selection for the SBI Clerk position, the initial basic salary is Rs. 26,730, with graduate candidates receiving two additional increments. When various allowances are added, the total wage is approximately Rs. 45,888. After deductions, the candidate gets approximately ₹39,529 per month in hand. This includes key allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Special Allowance, and Special Pay.
