So, the summer break will be around three weeks long. At the end of the year, there will be a seven-day winter break from December 25th to 31st.
Long break during Durga Puja and Diwali too
The Durga Puja holiday will last for five days, from October 17th to 21st. Diwali, Chitragupta Puja, and Chhath Puja will give a total of 10 days off, from November 7th to 17th.
Guidelines to ensure studies aren’t disrupted
The Education Department has made it clear that schools will stay open on Republic Day, Independence Day, Gandhi Jayanti, and during annual events. Schools will only close after these events are finished. The dates for Muslim festivals may vary based on the moon sighting, so a final decision will be made at that time.
