Hyundai Alcazar Petrol Variant 2025 – Hyundai India plans to bring in a new petrol version of the Alcazar by 2025. Alcazar has been successfully selling as a six- and seven-seater family SUV, and customer demand for an all-new, powerful, and refined petrol engine has made it desirable. Considering the demand, Hyundai is set to launch an all-new petrol engine accompaniment for the Facelifted Alcazar. The new petrol engine basically targets buyers looking for a little extra space than the Creta, but do not want to go with diesel.
The New Engine Option
“The new petrol version of the Alcazar will come with Hyundai’s improved 1.5-litre turbo GDi petrol engine with highly refined performance. The engine is already being offered with the Creta and has been appreciated for its smooth derivatives and better driving characteristics. Alcazar will be tuned on the same unit for a comfortable riding experience, even on sync workloads and during long trips with the family. Petrol engine is a tertiary quality that urban buyers favour in the car.”
Changed in Features
Facelifts for the interiors and exteriors are scheduled for the 2025 Alcazar. Within the interiors, expect an enlarged touchscreen with a newly designed digital cluster and a complete array of comfort features. An ADAS safety suite is also expected to be installed by Hyundai, aiming to give the Alcazar a competitive edge over the Creta. The sunroof, ventilated seats, auto-hold function, and 360-degree camera will not be standard equipment but are expected to be offered on top-end variants.

Design updates
Hyundai has concentrated its efforts on updating the design of exterior lights, grille, and bumpers. New LED DRLs and a sportier bumper will provide Alcazar with a new-age premium SUV outlook. The side profile, together with the alloy wheels, will also witness some minute and some major changes. The entire design stands sharp and bold, in line with the 2025 styling trends.
Expected Price And Launch Timeline

The Hyundai Alcazar New Petrol Variant launch is expected around mid-2025, i.e., between May and July. Pricing is expected to be a little lower than that of the current diesel variants. Expected pricing in India will be between ₹17 lakh to ₹21 lakh (ex-showroom). The introduction of a petrol model will keep the demand for Alcazar alive, considering the limited options in the segment for six-seater petrol SUVs.
