Reports have it that Oppo is preparing to add to its successful Reno series of smartphones with the forthcoming Oppo Reno 15 series. The new series could come in December and may introduce three models. In fact, many users are already looking forward to the device after the Reno 14 lineup gained attention in the mid-range category.
Design and Display
The Oppo Reno 15 series could arrive with a flat-screen design, while incorporating a metal frame to give an ultimately more premium feel and look. Early reports suggest that the Reno 15 Mini could be the most compact model, featuring a 6.32-inch AMOLED display. Meanwhile, the Reno 15 might boast a larger 6.59-inch screen, and the top-end Reno 15 Pro could get a 6.78-inch panel. The entire range is likely to come with IP68 or IP69 ratings, adding robustness to the devices.
Powerful Performance and Battery
Performance upgrades appear to play a significant role in the Oppo Reno 15 series, with the standard model and Mini variant reportedly running on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, which could deliver smoother day-to-day usage and better efficiency. The Pro variant could get even higher performance with the Dimensity 9400 chipset. Furthermore, all three models may pack a 6000mAh battery to make the lineup suitable for long and active usage. The Oppo Reno 15 series could attract users in search of better endurance without compromising on features.
Camera Features
The Reno series is known for camera innovation, and Oppo continues that focus with the Oppo Reno 15. Early leaks point to a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 primary camera sensor. It could be joined by a 50MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto sensor. The front camera may also see a notable upgrade, possibly featuring a 50MP sensor to enhance video calls and selfies.
Expected Launch and Pricing
