- Light a dhoop cone in your incense burner (dhoop daani).
- Add a few pieces of camphor to it.
- Break a bay leaf (tej patta) and drop it in.
- Add a couple of cloves (laung) as well.
- Let the mixture burn and create aromatic smoke.
- Now take the incense burner and carefully move through every corner of your house—each room, passage, balcony and entrance. Maintain a positive mindset throughout the process.
- After cleansing the whole home, place the dhoop daani outside to cool.
- Once the ashes have completely cooled, dispose of them outside the house.
