Motorola G85 vs Vivo Y38 5G – Slightly more premium design and build of Motorola G85. It had a slightly curved back and weighed just enough for its build. Good glossy glass-like impressions were on the rear panel of the Vivo Y38, although it quickly catches fingerprints.
Motorola looks a lot better here among the two options for class and premium appearance; Vivo, however, seems better on the modern aspect, at above average, but is more flashy in design.

Display Experience

Deep blacks set against saturated colours against a field of moderate brightness, such is the view on the pOLED display of Moto G85 while outdoors.
Vivo Y38 5G had an LCD that wasn’t exactly good enough, but compared with Motorola, it was more like the width not being wide enough amongst depth and clarity. Whoever gets to enjoy the movies, scroll on Instagram, or play a game while seated behind the Moto display would certainly be the real winner.

Performance

Smooth operation is Mercedes at its best. Suffice it to say that, pretty fast in most cases, with fluid animations used in app-opening sessions and almost without lag, are laudatory feats.
Vivo Y38 indeed handled all the basic aspects of calling, browsing, and even social activities well; heavy multitasking, however, was seen to have a little effect in occasional crashes.
Under a slightly more extensive user scenario and most importantly, gaming, Motorola has really hit untethered competition fully.

Camera Quality

Motorola G85 takes a very natural and detailed picture with balanced colour. Portrait mode has good depth separation and very natural skin tones.
What catches attention most in the Vivo Y38 is its bright tuning on camera: these pictures are primed for social media and bright and saturated. Yet, in low light, some noise creeps in.
If you want natural, true colours, Motorola can be a better option.
If bright, happy social media pictures sound appealing to you → Vivo Y38 is your best bet.

Battery Backup

In terms of endurance, G85 does quite well in most respects and lasts comfortably for a day and sometimes even more on a single charge. Low heating is also an even less point.
Close to this, the Vivo Y38 also has its length, but fast-charge support comes to its advantage when it helps refill juice as fast as possible.

Software Experience

Just like that clean UI that is the Motorola G85, plus to that, no bloatware, and the interface is smooth, clean, and unblemished.
FunTouch, which is feature-rich in Vivo Y38, can be a tad buggy with adware and unwanted apps.

For long smooth operation, a good display, natural camera output, and a neat UI design, the Motorola G85 is a definition of money’s worth.
For classy design and bright images with quick charging features, the Vivo Y38 5G will serve as a reliable daily phone.
