RRB NTPC UG CBT 2 Exam Date 2025 OUT. There’s good news for candidates who passed the first NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment exam. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially announced the date for the second stage of the NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment, CBT 2. Candidates who passed CBT 1 can now speed up their preparations for the next stage. According to the notification issued by the RRB, the NTPC UG CBT 2 exam will be held on December 20, 2025.
It should be noted that the NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment is conducted on a single level, attracting millions of candidates. After the exam date is announced, the city slip containing the exam city information and the admit card will also be released on time.

NTPC UG CBT 2 exam is scheduled for December 20
According to the RRB, the CBT II exam for CEN No. 06/2024 (Undergraduate) recruitment will be held on the same day, December 20, 2025, at various exam centres across the country. All exam-related guidelines and updates will be provided to candidates on the official website.
When will the city slip be released? When will the admit card be downloaded?
RRB has clarified in its notification that
The city intimation slip will be issued 10 days before the exam date. This will allow candidates to obtain information about their exam city in advance and make travel preparations.
The admit card will be available for download four days before the exam date. Hall tickets will be issued online only; admit cards will not be sent by post or any other means.
RRB NTPC UG CBT 2: Exam Pattern
A total of 120 multiple-choice questions will be asked in the CBT 2 exam, the details of which are as follows:
- General Awareness (50 questions)
- Mathematics (35 questions)
- General Intelligence and Reasoning (35 questions)
The total duration of the exam will be 90 minutes (one and a half hours).
- Negative Marking
- Correct Answer: +1 mark
- Incorrect Answer: –1/3 mark
Therefore, candidates must carefully attempt the paper, avoiding incorrect answers.
