The Education Department had previously submitted proposals to the Finance Department to fill 3,427 basic computer instructor positions and 315 senior computer instructor positions. However, after review, the Finance Department has approved recruitment for a total of 2,300 posts.
The details of the approved posts are as follows:
- Basic Computer Instructor: 2,000 posts
- Senior Computer Instructor: 300 posts
This approval is considered a significant step to strengthen computer education and enhance technical resources in state schools.
Online applications to begin soon, selection board to continue the process
After receiving recruitment approval, the Education Department will authorise the Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB/RSBS) to issue a notification. Eligible candidates will be able to apply online after the board releases the advertisement.
The expected date for the application opening will be clear only after the official announcement, but according to department sources, preparations are underway to begin the recruitment process soon to ensure timely selection and address staff shortages in schools.
