If you are planning to buy an electric SUV and want a car with a different, more stylish and more sporty look, a major update from Mahindra has surfaced. The company has released a teaser of its Popular Electric SUV Mahindra BE 6 Special Edition. This new edition may launch on November 26, 2025 and early indications are that it will be connected to Mahindra’s “Scream Electric” campaign. This edition can feature Formula E-inspired graphics, new decals and sporty touch, making it look completely different from the standard BE 6.
Design
The teaser features Mahindra BE 6 Electric Origin’s Firestorm Orange color, which looks quite attractive and sporty. Pack Two trim is expected to be found in this model. New LED DRL Eyebrow units appear on the front, making it more premium. The headlamps are slightly shifted down, giving the car a high-end sporty SUV look at the front. It is clear that the company has also redesigned the front bumpers so that it is identified differently from the standard BE 6.
Changes are also seen on the back side. The design of LED Lightbar is more clean and modern than before. With these changes, this new edition of BE 6 will be fully capable of grabbing the attention of people on the road.
Features
Mahindra can offer this new edition as Formula Edition or Racing Edition, as its design, graphics and color scheme look like an Inspire from Formula Racing. It will be showcased with the XEV 9S at the Scream Electric event, where the company is promising “Winning Formula” Experience of Innovation and Performance. It is clear that not only will the design be better in the new edition but also a premium touch in features and technology.
Interior information is not clean in the teaser, but it is estimated that it may have a more sporty theme, new contrast stitching, special edition badging and perhaps exclusive color scheme.
Powertrain
Now its true power — Which engine or motor will be found in it? Initial reports suggest that the new Special Edition may use the same rear-drive electric motor as the previous model. It can get 59 kWh and 72 kWh LFP battery options. This battery setup will give the BE6 a stronger range and better performance. The possibility of an all-wheel drive (AWD) version also remains, which will make it more powerful and stable, especially on high speed and poor roads. If AWD arrives, it will become a fairly powerful electric SUV in its segment.
Price
Talking about the price, the initial price of Mahindra BE 6 starts around Rs 18 lakh. But due to the special edition, the price of the new model is expected to be slightly higher. The company can launch it between 20 lakh and 25 lakh rupees. This price will make it stand out directly against models such as Tata Harrier EV and MG ZS EV.
