NIOS Opens Applications for 10th and 12th April– May 2026 Exams. There’s good news for students preparing to appear for the 10th and 12th grade exams from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). NIOS has begun the online registration process for the April-May 2026 exams. Students can apply by filling out the online form within the stipulated deadline. The deadline for submitting the form without late fees is December 20, 2025, while applications with late fees will be accepted until January 10, 2026.

The notification issued by NIOS lists several dates for the application process. Students can apply at their convenience with the prescribed fee. It should be noted that NIOS certificates are accepted for government jobs. The Government of India recognises NIOS certificates on par with other CBSE and state boards.
