ICSE, ISC 2026 Timetable Released. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has released the date sheets for the 2026 ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board examinations. This year, the exams will be held earlier than in previous years. ISC (Intermediate) exams will begin on February 12, 2026, while ICSE (High School) exams will begin on February 17, 2026. The board has also clarified that each student will be given an additional 15 minutes to read the question paper.

ICSE and ISC 2026: How many students will appear in the exams?
According to CISCE, approximately 2.6 lakh students will appear for the ICSE exam this year, and approximately 1.5 lakh students will appear for the ISC exam. The timetable for both exams has been carefully designed to provide students with adequate time for preparation. Exams will be conducted for over 75 subjects in ICSE, while exams will be conducted for over 50 subjects in ISC.
ICSE Class 10 Exam 2026: Complete Date Sheet and Important Dates
ICSE Class 10 exams will run from February 17, 2026, to March 30, 2026. The dates for some of the key subjects are as follows:
- February 17 – English Language (Paper 1), Time: 11:00 am
- February 20 – English Literature (Paper 2), Time: 11:00 am
- February 23 – Group III Optional – Section B
- March 2 – Mathematics, Time: 11:00 am
- March 30 – Environmental Science (Group II Optional)
ISC Class 12 Exam 2026: Key Dates and Complete Timetable
ISC Class 12 exams will be held from February 12, 2026, to April 6, 2026. The exam dates for some of the main subjects are as follows:
- February 12 – Psychology, Time: 2:00 PM
- February 13 – English (Paper 1), Time: 2:00 PM
- February 16 – Home Science (Paper 1)
- March 9 – Mathematics, Time: 2:00 PM
- April 6 – Geography

Exam Day Guidelines:
CISCE has also issued some important instructions to students.
Candidates must arrive at the examination centre 30 minutes before the start of the examination.
Students will be given 15 minutes to read the question paper before each exam to ensure they understand the paper thoroughly.
CISCE Chief Executive and Secretary Dr Joseph Emmanuel stated that the release of the timetable is not just a notification, but an opportunity for students to focus and plan. He explained that the timetable has been designed to reduce stress and enable students to perform better.

ICSE, ISC Result 2026: When will the results be released?
According to the board, the results for both exams are expected to be released in April or May 2026. Admit cards will also be available in January 2026, initially sent to the school and then to students. Students will also be able to download their admit cards from the official website using their UID or registration number.
