For candidates who have applied for the Common Admission Test (CAT) and are waiting for the exam, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode may soon have some important news. IIM Kozhikode is expected to release the admit card for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 on November 12, 2025. Candidates appearing for the CAT exam this year will be able to download their admit card by visiting the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
The CAT exam is the country’s largest entrance exam for admission to MBA and management courses. This exam provides admission to many prestigious business schools, including the IIMs. Once the admit card link is available, applicants will be able to download the admit card using the steps provided here.

How to Download the CAT 2025 Admit Card
Once the admit card is released, candidates can download it using the simple steps below.
- First, visit the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
- Click on the “CAT Admit Card 2025” link on the homepage.
- Now, enter your User ID and Password on the login page.
- After logging in, your admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download the admit card and take a printout.
Candidates are advised to carefully check the information provided on the admit card, such as name, exam centre, exam date, and shift timings.
CAT 2025 Exam Date and Shift Details
The CAT 2025 exam will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode on November 30, 2025 (Sunday). The exam will be conducted in three shifts at various exam centres across the country.
- First Shift: 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Second Shift: 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
- Third Shift: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least one hour before their scheduled shift.
CAT 2025 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The CAT 2025 exam will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. A total of 66 questions will be asked in the exam, divided into three sections:
- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC)
- Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR)
- Quantitative Aptitude (QA)
Each correct answer will carry 3 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours).
Please note that you will have 40 minutes to solve each section.
When will the CAT 2025 result be announced?
After the CAT exam is over, the results are expected to be announced in the first week of January 2026. Once the results are released, candidates will be able to download their scorecards using their login credentials.
