Kaal Bhairav Jayanti 2025: The festival is considered very auspicious. According to the Hindu calendar, Kaal Bhairav Jayanti is celebrated every year on the Ashtami Tithi of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Margashirsha. This day is dedicated to Kaal Bhairav, the fierce form of Lord Shiva, who is worshipped as the god of tantra and mantra and the protector of Kashi. He is considered the destroyer of all opposing forces and enemies. This year, Kaal Bhairav Jayanti will be celebrated on November 12, 2025. Today, we are sharing some remedies for this day.
Remedy to Get Rid of Enemies
Go to the Kaal Bhairav temple in the evening. Light a four-sided lamp of mustard oil in the temple or in your home’s prayer area. Put some black urad dal in the lamp. While lighting the lamp, chant the Bhairav mantra “Om Hreem Kaal Bhairavaya Hum Phat Swaha” 108 times. After this, feed the dogs, as they are considered the incarnation of Kaal Bhairav. On this day, especially black dogs, sweet bread, milk, or curd rice should be fed. According to belief, feeding dogs on this day pleases Baba Kaal Bhairav and pacifies all your enemies.
Coconut and Camphor Remedy
On Kaal Bhairav Jayanti, a coconut should be passed over your head seven times and offered at the Bhairav temple. Camphor should be burned on top of it. It is believed that this removes negative energies and supernatural obstacles.
Donate Black Clothes
On Bhairav Jayanti, donate black clothes, a blanket, or sesame seeds to a poor or needy person. This remedy eliminates domestic problems and the fear of enemies.
Amla Leaves and Sindoor
If an enemy is causing you significant trouble, write their name with vermillion on five Amla leaves and offer them at the feet of Baba Bhairav.
