When was the exam held?
The IBPS Clerk Prelims exam was held on October 4, 5, and 11. Successful candidates will be eligible for the Mains exam. The Mains exam is scheduled for November 29. Therefore, it is expected that the results of the Preliminary exam will be released soon.

According to the official notification, the total number of clerk posts initially to be filled is 10,277, which has now been increased. Under the new IBPS notification, a total of 13,533 clerk posts are to be filled.
Next Steps After Passing SBI Clerk Prelims 2025
Candidates who qualify for the Prelims Exam will be called for the Mains Exam. SBI will announce the date of the Mains Exam soon through a notice on its website.
After the Mains Exam, candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV) and Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Only those candidates who pass all the stages will be selected in the final merit list.
