Vivo Y500 Pro: Vivo is all set to launch another significant smartphone in its popular Y-series lineup. The Vivo Y500 Pro will launch on November 10 in China, confirms the company officially. Positioned as a mid-range smartphone, this new model aims at raising the bar in the category with its premium design, flagship-like features, and segment-first 200MP camera setup.

A New Benchmark in Camera Technology

The Vivo Y500 Pro boasts a 200MP Samsung HP5 primary camera, which is a big leap from the 50MP sensor used on the predecessor, the Y500. This places it in a strong position among photography enthusiasts, according to Vivo’s claims of delivering class-leading image quality. There is a 32MP front camera for selfies, while AI-driven imaging features further enhance photo and video performance.

Vivo Y500 Pro Performance and Gaming

Under the hood, the Vivo Y500 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and as much as 512GB internal storage. The combination ensures smoother multitasking, and gamers will surely notice an improvement there. Vivo has further confirmed that the device will support up to 120fps gameplay of most MOBA titles, making it the perfect pick among gamers for providing stable and responsive performance.

Battery Design Excellence

Another highlight of the device is the huge 7,000mAh ‘Blue Ocean’ semi-solid-state battery, which increases the capacity from the smaller unit used in the previous Y-series model. It features fast charging, but exact details remain to be officially disclosed. Its satin AG glass finish, flat 6.67-inch 1.5K display, and IP68/IP69 rating amplify the overall elegance and durability of the phone. Vivo wants to mix style with daily functionality here.

Software and Connectivity Features

Running on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, the Vivo Y500 Pro will be the first non-flagship smartphone to make its debut with this software version. The interface will offer smoother animations, better battery optimization, and more refined multitasking. Connectivity options will include 5G, Bluetooth, NFC, and dual SIM support. Other notable inclusions are the in-display fingerprint sensor and bundled accessories like a case and charger that come in the box for an enhanced user experience.
