Job Card Aadhaar Link: The central government has made it mandatory to link your Aadhaar card with your job card to continue receiving MGNREGA benefits. Workers who fail to complete the Aadhaar linking process may not be eligible for 100 days of guaranteed work under the scheme.
Why Aadhaar Link is Important
Linking Aadhaar helps ensure transparency and prevents fake job cards. It also allows direct transfer of wages to workers’ bank accounts without delay.

Job Card Aadhaar Link: Aadhaar Linking Mandatory Before Deadline! Know the Full Process
The main purpose of this process is to verify whether the family members listed on the job card are actually alive and actively working. It also aims to update records by removing the names of deceased or relocated individuals.
For linking, the job card and Aadhaar card of every family member are required. This process can be completed offline only, not online. You have to visit the booth office under your Gram Panchayat to link it directly. The support staff or operators at the booth office will handle the process.
All family members must be present at the booth office, as their identities will be verified through Face Authentication. According to the administration, this initiative will help genuine workers receive benefits transparently and will significantly reduce the number of fake job cards.
The administration is also spreading awareness through miking and local campaigns in rural areas so that no one misses the deadline.
If your Aadhaar is not yet linked with your job card, complete the process as soon as possible to continue receiving MGNREGA benefits.
