Bank Holidays in November 2025: Several holidays will be observed across the country. There will be a total of 13 holidays in November, including weekly and festival holidays. According to the Reserve Bank of India calendar, these holidays will vary by state. This means that banks will be closed on some days in some states, while banks will remain open in others.

Although banks are closed, online services remain operational. Many banks today offer online services, including internet banking. Through online banking, customers can submit fund transfer requests using NEFT/RTGS transfer forms, demand draft request forms, and chequebook forms. Credit, debit, and ATM cards can be obtained through card services. Other services, such as account maintenance forms, setting standing instructions, and applying for lockers, are also available.

November 1 – Karnataka Rajyotsav / Igas-Bagwal

Banks in Karnataka will be closed on November 1 due to the Karnataka Rajyotsav. Banks will also be closed in Uttarakhand for the Igas-Bagwal festival, which is celebrated 11 days after Diwali.

November 2, 2025- Since November 2 is a Sunday, banks across the country will remain closed on weekly holidays.

November 5 – Guru Nanak Jayanti / Kartik Purnima
Banks will be closed in many states across the country. These days are celebrated as Guru Nanak Jayanti, Kartik Purnima, and Raas Purnima. Banks will be closed in many cities, including Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Bhopal, Ranchi, Dehradun, Jammu, and Hyderabad.

November 7 – Wangala Festival (Meghalaya)

The Wangala Festival is a harvest festival. It is a traditional state festival, and banks in Shillong will be closed on this day.

November 8 – Kanakadasa Jayanti

Banks in Karnataka will be closed on the occasion of Kanakadasa Jayanti.

November 9, 2025- Since it is Sunday, banks across the country will remain closed on weekly holidays.

November 11 – Lhabab Duchen (Sikkim)

The Lhabab Duchen festival will be celebrated in Sikkim on November 11, with banks only closed.

November 16, 2025- Banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday.

November 22, 2025- Banks will remain closed in all states on the fourth Saturday.

November 23, 2025- Banks across the country are closed on Sunday. Banks in Meghalaya will remain closed for Seng Kut Snem.

November 25, 2025- Banks will remain closed in Punjab on Tuesday, November 25, in observance of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji’s Martyrdom Day.

November 30, 2025- Since it is Sunday, there will be no work in banks across the country.
