Aadhaar Card Rules: Big news for Aadhaar Card holders. Several major features related to Aadhaar cards are set to change starting November 1st. Aadhaar users will now be able to update key information like their name, address, date of birth, and mobile number online from the comfort of their homes. They will no longer need to visit an enrollment center.

Under the new UIDAI system, your information will be automatically verified against government databases such as PAN, passport, driving license, ration card, and birth certificate. This will make the Aadhaar update process faster, easier, and more secure. Additionally, the update fee at enrollment centers has also been revised.

Additionally, Aadhaar-PAN linking has now become mandatory. All PAN holders must link their Aadhaar by December 31, 2025, or their PAN will become inactive from January 1, 2026. Aadhaar authentication will now be required for those applying for a new PAN card. The KYC process has also been simplified. Banks and financial institutions will now be able to verify customer identity through Aadhaar OTP, video KYC, or face-to-face verification. This will make the process faster, paperless, and secure.
