Apple Finally Among Top 5 Smartphone Brands in India: Apple’s craze is continuously growing in the Indian phone market because of its premiumness and popularity. Its increasing popularity has now placed Apple in the top 5 smartphone brand list in India. Nowadays, many people are purchasing iPhones even after the launch of the iPhone 17 series. People are going for iPhone 16 or iPhone 15 series because of the current price reduction and the festival season sales, where most e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart, and Vijay Sales offered huge discounts on smartphones. But the main focus point in the premium category was iPhones.

Apple Popularity Increasing

As per Omdia data, we have gathered information that only in this year, in the third quarter, around 49 lakh iPhones were shipped, which is three times more than last year in the same quarter. The market share of Apple in the Indian smartphone market is now 10%, and it is continuously increasing because, as you know, most influencers, popular celebrities, politicians, and literally everyone who has money uses iPhone.

Vivo Still Number 1

The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is the number one smartphone brand in India in the third quarter of 2025. The company has shipped 97 lakh units. Vivo’s growth is 3x more than the previous year, and its market share is 20%.

Samsung Is On The Second Position, Know Others

Samsung brand is on the second position, and it has shipped 68 lakh smartphone units in the third quarter of 2025, and its market share is 14%. Simultaneously, Xiaomi holds the number 3 position in India with a 13% market share. Oppo holds the same market share of 13%, but there is a slight difference between Oppo and Xiaomi sales.

On top of that, other brands have shipped over 1 crore 40 lakh units of smartphones in the third quarter, where Motorola and Nothing brands have gotten the most benefit. Motorola has achieved 53% year-on-year growth, and Nothing has achieved 66% year-on-year growth.
