UPI Help: The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has taken a big and smart step. Now users will no longer have to wander around for questions related to digital payments. On October 21, 2025, NPCI launched a new AI-powered assistant, UPI Help , which is currently in the testing phase. This tool is specifically designed for users who face issues related to UPI transactions or payments.

 UPI Help Features

UPI Help has three major features that will make digital payments easier for users. First, this AI assistant answers users’ questions, helping them better understand UPI’s features and guidelines. Second, it helps resolve transaction-related complaints—such as checking transaction status, logging a complaint, or providing additional information to the bank to resolve disputes faster. Third, it has a “mandate management” feature that allows users to view and manage their active mandates, such as AutoPay or EMI. Simply enter commands like ‘Pause,’ ‘Resume,’ or ‘Revoke.’

What benefits will users get?

The biggest advantage of UPI Help is that users no longer have to wait on customer care. This AI chat system responds instantly and provides essential information. This makes it much easier to check transaction status, register complaints, and track them. Furthermore, it also speeds up the dispute resolution process by sending essential information directly to the bank. The option to control autopay and mandates in one place also provides greater convenience for users. Overall, this tool is a major step towards making digital payments smarter and more user-friendly.

How to use UPI Help?

Currently, UPI Help can be accessed through participating banks’ channels and the DigiSathi platform. In the future, it will also be integrated directly into UPI apps. If you want to use it through DigiSathi, follow these simple steps:

  1. Search DigiSathi UPI on Google.
  2. Click on the official link that appears.
  3. Go to the UPI Help section on the left side of the screen.
  4. Login by entering your mobile number and captcha.
  5. After doing just this, you can get answers to your questions directly from the AI chat assistant.
  6. AI will become even more intelligent

UPI Help is still in its early stages, but NPCI aims to integrate it into all major UPI apps. Importantly, this AI system will continuously learn from user feedback, making its responses more accurate and intelligent. NPCI’s goal is to ensure that digital payments are not only safe, but also easy and reliable for everyone.
