The top variant is expected to have a range of up to 500 kilometres, making it one of the electric SUVs with the longest range in its segment.

The car will also feature fast charging technology, allowing the battery to be easily charged up to 80 per cent in a short time. According to the company, the e-Vitara will deliver excellent performance in both city and highway conditions.

According to a report, the Maruti e-Vitara could be priced between ₹2.5 million and ₹3.0 million.
