Countless agricultural workers across the nation are now anticipating the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Prior to releasing the installment, the Central Government has acknowledged important information. If you are seeking the installment, this information is critical for you to know.
There are reports that approximately 3,100,000 farmers may be excluded this time. It has been suggested that these payments should not be sent to those farmers who might have taken advantage of the ₹6000 from the PM Kisan Yojana.
Therefore, the government has begun verification for questionable farmers before the installment is disbursed.
The 20th installment was similarly withheld from many farmers prior. The government previously flagged farmers with suspicious accounts and false eligibility criteria indicating that they did not meet the eligibility measures. A similar indication is noted with the potential withholding of payment prior to the 21st installment.

Government Starts Verification Process
The government has taken strict steps to stop fraud and irregularities in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. A large-scale verification process has started. Farmers who do not meet these three important conditions may be excluded from the list.
Only One Beneficiary per Family: If both husband and wife are taking the benefit, one name may be removed from the list. About 31.01 lakh such cases have been found.
Age 18 Years or Above: The benefit is only for farmers who are 18 years or older. Accounts of minors may be cancelled. About 1.76 lakh accounts of minors have been identified.
Land Ownership: Farmers who purchased land after 1 February 2019 are not eligible. About 8 lakh farmers may be excluded under this rule.
How to Check Your Status
Farmers can check if they meet the PM Kisan conditions by visiting the official portal: pmkisan.gov.in
Steps to check:
- Open the portal and click on “Know Your Status.”
- Enter your PM Kisan registration number and captcha code.
- Click on “Get OTP” and enter the OTP received on your mobile.
- Your information will appear, showing Eligibility Status and last installment details.
- Check if Land Seeding and e-KYC show ✔ or Yes. If both are correct, your installment will be deposited in your bank account on time.
