NEET PG 2025 Counselling Dates: Every year, millions of students prepare for the NEET UG exam, and only a handful succeed. Important news has emerged for candidates taking the NEET PG 2025 exam. According to media reports, the Medical Counselling Committee is expected to release the NEET PG counselling schedule for 2025 today. The counselling dates will be posted on the MCC’s official website. Candidates will then be able to participate in counselling on the scheduled dates to pursue MD, MS, or PG diploma courses.
How will the admission process work?
The MCC will conduct NEET PG counselling in four stages. Candidates will be allocated seats based on their rank and granted admission.
Category-wise cutoffs and percentiles
General EWS category: Cutoff 50 percentile and score 276
General PwBD category:
Percentile 45 and score 255
SC/ST/OBC (Including PwBD of SC/ST/OBC) category: Cutoff 40 percentile and score 235
Required Documents
NEET PG counselling can begin at any time, so students should prepare all necessary documents in advance. Some important documents include the allotment letter, admit card, result/rank letter, MBBS/BDS degree/certificate, etc.
Counseling Process
To participate in counselling, candidates must first register.
After registration, seat choice filling/locking will be required.
After the seat allocation process is complete, the allotment result will be released.
Candidates will now need to report to their allotted institute and participate in the document verification process to obtain admission.
It is worth noting that this year, the NEET PG 2025 exam was conducted on August 3, and the results were announced on August 19. Following the results, the merit list was released on August 27, and the scorecards were released on August 30, 2025. Candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly for the latest updates.
