The Artistic Brilliance of the OCW-S7000CN-1AJF

The OCW-S7000CN-1AJF is characterized by its stunning sapphire bezel, which was precision-cut by master Edo Kiriko craftsman Toru Horiguchi. The Thousand Lines pattern is an interpretation of the shine of moonlight on peaceful water. Handwork each detailed cut on hard sapphire glass is intricate and requires utmost accuracy and plenty of finishing time.

The watch captures the Calm Night theme with a solid black titanium case, highlighted with soft blue reflections from various angles. Its face has a flat, crater-like finish, echoing the moon’s surface, for a refined, atmospheric appearance.

Advanced Features and Design

Weighing just 81 grams, the OCW-S7000CN-1AJF measures 47.5 × 42.8 × 9.8 mm and comes packed with technology. It includes Bluetooth connectivity, MULTIBAND6 radio-controlled time correction, and Casio’s Tough Solar system. Users also get world time for 27 cities, a 1-second stopwatch, an automatic calendar, and a power-saving mode.

Under a double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the watch is 10 ATM water resistant and boasts Neobrite-coated hands and indexes for low-light visibility. The titanium strap adds sophistication with mirror-polished arrow-shaped links and a slide-adjustment clasp for ease of use.

The Premium OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR: A Collector’s Dream

Taking craftsmanship to a new height, the OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR is a limited series of only 600 pieces globally. Its sapphire bezel features the Senjiku pattern, again created by Horiguchi, with 24 hand-polished facets and black-silver gradations that shine with faint blue tones under light.

The dial is constructed on a metal base that is debossed with moon textures, augmented by layered paint and plating for added depth. The case back also has a laser-engraved moon emblem, echoing the astronomical theme of the series.

Solar Technology and Build Upgrade

This new edition features Gallium Tough Solar, an advanced solar technology borrowed from satellite systems. It incorporates a crescent-type solar cell under the date window to achieve maximum light absorption and power generation. 47.5 × 43 × 11.7 mm in size and 99 grams in weight, the watch boasts all the signature features Bluetooth, MULTIBAND6, Tough Solar, and world time. Similar to its sibling, it is 10 ATM water-resistant and features Neobrite hands for legibility during nighttime.
