Aadhaar Card – Big news for Aadhaar Card holders. Correcting errors or updating your Aadhaar card has become more expensive. The Unique Identification Authority of India has increased the fees for Aadhaar-related services effective today, October 1st. There is still no fee for making a new Aadhaar card.

Previously, the fee for updating an Aadhaar card was 50 rupees, which has now been increased to 75 rupees. Similarly, the fee for biometric updates in Aadhaar has also been increased from 100 rupees to 125 rupees. This means you will now have to pay 25 rupees more.
