Gold Price Today: The prices of gold and silver are steadily rising. However, there have been occasional drops. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association website, the cost of 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹109,775 per 10 grams at market close on Friday. Silver prices rose to ₹128,000 per kilogram. Since the market is closed on Saturday and Sunday, these prices will be valid on both days.
Meanwhile, according to the All India Sarafa Association, the price of gold in the Delhi bullion market has risen by ₹800 to ₹114,000 per 10 grams. Silver prices have also increased by ₹500 to ₹132,000 per kilogram.

In five trading days, 10 grams of 24-carat gold has become more expensive by around ₹500 on the MCX. Silver has seen a jump of ₹1,258 per kilogram.
Gold Rate on MCX
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, 24-carat gold with an expiry date of October 3rd closed at Rs. 1,09,900 per 10 grams on Friday, the last trading day, up by just Rs. 53. On September 12, 2025, its price was Rs. 1,09,370. Consequently, 10 grams of gold has become more expensive by Rs. 530 on MCX.
Gold Price in the Domestic Market
Overall, the price of 24-carat gold has increased slightly over the last five days. According to the Indian Bullion Jewellers Association’s website, IBJA.com, the cost of 10 grams of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs. 1,09,707 on September 12, which rose to Rs. 1,09,775 on Friday, September 19. The price of 10 grams of gold has increased by just Rs. 75. However, there is a continuous rise in the prices of gold and silver.
