Redmi 15C 5G specifications: Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi officially launched the Redmi 15C 5G in Europe, the company’s latest budget phone addition. It comes before the 4G iteration that launched earlier this month, but comes with the faster 5G connectivity with the same design and big battery that allowed the previous one to catch up with price-conscious consumers.

Pricing and Availability in Europe
Polish, French, Spanish, and Hungarian retail listings confirm that Redmi 15C 5G can be bought. The starting model at 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs around €150, and the more expensive 256GB model is slightly more. In comparison with the Redmi 15C 4G, which costs about €130 in some regions, the difference in price is something negligible, so this new 5G model is a superb upgrade.
Dimensity 6300 Takes Over
The largest overhaul of the Redmi 15C 5G comes in the engine room. Redmi has swapped out the old Helio G81 Ultra with MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chip. Taped onto a 6nm process, it boasts two high-speed 2.4GHz cores and six efficiency 2.0GHz cores. Though not a top-line processor, it provides improved performance for everyday apps and light gaming, and also brings improved power efficiency over its predecessor.
Stay Display and Battery
Most of the hardware is similar to that in the 4G model. However, the Redmi 15C 5G boasts a 6.9-inch LCD and smooth-as-silk 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery, which supports fast charging up to 33W. Redmi doesn’t ship with a charger in the box, though, a provision that will be deeply felt by price-sensitive consumers. In spite of that, the massive battery capacity enables the user to get through whole days of usage with ease.
Camera and Other Features
Optics, on the other hand, gets a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP front camera situated in a notch. While the configuration is not robust, it’s sufficient for casual photography and video conferencing. Other features include IP64 splash proofing, NFC connectivity in some markets, a 3.5mm jack, and side fingerprint unlocking.
Verdict: A Budget-Friendly 5G Upgrade
The Redmi 15C 5G doesn’t introduce dramatic changes beyond the Dimensity 6300 chipset, but it delivers where it matters affordable 5G support, massive battery life, and a smooth display. For consumers looking for a reliable budget smartphone with future-ready connectivity, it represents a solid value proposition in Redmi’s growing portfolio.
