Now Nitish Kumar has launched the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme to promote women. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to a woman from every family in the state to start employment of her choice. Under this scheme, some amount will be provided to women for employment. Not only this, it will also benefit on a large scale.
Objective of the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme
Under the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme, an amount of Rs 10,000 will be given as the first instalment to a woman from every family to do employment of her choice as financial assistance. Then, after the women start employment, the government will review it.
Along with this, additional financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh will be provided as per the requirement. This initiative of the Bihar government will not only make women financially strong. The economy of the state can also get a boost.
Who will get the benefit of the scheme??
The Bihar government claimed that a family in employment means husband, wife, father and their unmarried children. Unmarried adult women whose parents are not alive. Along with this, they will be considered a single family for the scheme. Along with this, benefits can also be given as per the rules.
To apply, the age of the woman must be between 18 years to 60 years. The applicant herself or her husband should not be in the category of an income taxpayer. The applicant herself or her husband should not be in government service.
