Cloudburst in Doda:- There are many states in the country where devastation is being seen due to continuous heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning due to heavy rains in most states. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, on August 26, a cloudburst in Doda caused devastation. About 15 houses have also been damaged in the accident.
Rescue operations are underway in the area following the cloudburst. There has been a sensation in the area after the incident of cloudburst came to light. Doda DC Harvinder Singh has given information about the cloudburst. The affected area is not well connected by road, and one must walk for 40–50 minutes to reach it.
Traffic completely disrupted
Due to continuous heavy rains, incidents of landslides, soil collapse and stone falling have also been reported in the area. Traffic has been completely disrupted due to debris accumulation on many parts of the National Highway.

Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh said about the incident – Just Now Spoke to DC Doda Sh Harvinder Singh. According to him, a flash flood has been reported in the Charwa area of Bhalesa. So far, no casualties have been reported in connection with this flash flood. The administration is monitoring the situation, and regular updates being conveyed to my office.”
According to the information, after the cloudburst in the Thathri area, flood-like conditions have been created, and many houses have been buried under the debris. However, no loss of life or property has been confirmed so far. Administration teams have reached the spot for relief and rescue work.
