UP Weather Update: Most states in the country are in a state of panic due to continuous heavy rains. In many states, people are facing significant trouble getting out of their homes due to heavy rains. At present, the rain has stopped in Delhi-NCR for a few days. At the same time, heavy rains are expected to continue in South India from August 26 to 28. Regarding the weather in UP, the mood of the weather can change once again. The rain process has started in the state. An alert has also been issued regarding heavy rain in the coming days. On Friday, heavy rains have been recorded in many districts, including Banda, Basti, Ghazipur, Barabanki, and Kanpur Rural.

The Meteorological Department estimates that on August 23, rain accompanied by thunder and lightning can be expected at many places in the western part of the state. Apart from this, rain with thunder and lightning can be seen at almost all places in eastern UP. During this, an alert has been issued regarding heavy rain in some parts of both parts.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are expected to occur in several districts, including Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, and Varanasi, on Saturday. Additionally, an alert has been issued due to heavy rains in Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Etah, Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and their surrounding areas.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning in the districts of Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, and Varanasi. Apart from this, there are chances of thunder and lightning in many districts, including Mau, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, and Lucknow.
