Celebrating its tremendous success, the Tata Punch is all set to come in a new form. This small SUV, which has made a splash in the market with its rugged look and strong ambitions, is now coming with a facelift version with even more features. The latest spy shots show that Tata has put most of the magic in the interiors this time, which looks like it has come to give a strong challenge to its rivals.

Exterior
From the outside, the new Punch doesn’t look too different. Tata has probably decided to retain the same rugged and familiar aesthetics. Signature elements like projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and strong wheel arch cladding have been retained. However, newly designed alloy wheels and minor changes to the front-rear bumper are likely to give it a fresh look.

Interior
The interior is the biggest highlight of this update. The first thing that comes to mind is a new 2-spoke steering wheel, which is similar to the new Tata models. It has an illuminated logo and steering mounted controls that look quite modern. A major upgrade is the 7-inch digital instrument cluster, which looks much better and more informative than the old one. The existing 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system is there, and a new climate control panel can also be found.

Security and Features
Tata has always been ahead in terms of safety and this time too no stone has been left unturned. The biggest news is that Tata can now make 6-airbags a standard feature in all variants, which will prove to be a game-changer in this segment.
