Govt Scheme – Who will get Rs 15,000? where to apply? Know each and everything

PM Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana: Prime Minister Modi has given great news to the youth of the country on Independence Day . Now the government will transfer up to Rs 15,000 directly to the bank account of the youth who get their first job. The youth will get this benefit under the ‘Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana’.

This scheme has started from August 1, 2025 and its benefits will be available till July 31, 2027. If you are working for the first time in the private sector and your name is registered in EPFO, as well as your salary is up to one lakh rupees per month, then you are eligible for it. That is, new employees with a salary of 20, 30, 50 thousand or one lakh can take advantage of this scheme.

How to get the reward of Rs 15,000?

The first installment will be given after six months of service and the second installment will be given after 12 months of service and completion of financial literacy program. The government will deposit a maximum of Rs 15,000 directly into your account, which is equal to one month’s EPF salary.

How to apply?

The process of applying for Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (through EPFO) will be as follows. First of all, the company in which you start working for the first time will register you under EPFO (Employees Provident Fund Organization). Your EPF number and details are received from the company. The company will have to submit all your documents and basic information (Aadhaar, bank account, salary slip etc.) on the EPFO portal. After that you will automatically join this scheme. Employees can track the status of their application and installment through the EPFO portal or mobile app.

However, your eligibility will be checked by the EPFO system, like whether it is your first job, salary is less than Rs 1 lakh per month, and whether 6 months of continuous service has been completed.

This scheme is not only beneficial for employees but also for companies. If a company with less than 50 employees hires two new people for six months continuously, or a company with more than 50 employees hires five additional people for six months continuously, then the government will give it an incentive of three thousand rupees per month for every additional employee for two years.
