Maruti Suzuki has raised the prices of its popular Fronx SUV in India. Buyers will now have to spend ₹4,000 more for select variants. Along with the price hike, the company has discontinued the 1.2-litre petrol-manual Delta Plus (O) variant. However, the 1.2-litre petrol-automatic Delta Plus (O) variant continues with the old price. The hike is up to 0.93% depending on the model. Those planning to buy should check the updated price list before making a decision.

Engine and Performance

The Maruti Fronx is offered with a 1.0-litre turbo Boosterjet engine. It accelerates from 0 to 60 km/h in just 5.3 seconds. The SUV also has an advanced 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with Smart Hybrid technology. This setup improves fuel efficiency and driving comfort. Transmission options include a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters, as well as Auto Gear Shift (AGS). The Fronx delivers a mileage of up to 22.89 km/l, making it a fuel-efficient choice in its segment.

Dimensions and Boot Space

In terms of size, the Maruti Fronx measures 3995mm in length, 1765mm in width, and 1550mm in height. The wheelbase stands at 2520mm, providing decent cabin space. It offers a boot capacity of 308 litres, which is adequate for weekend trips and city use.

Maruti has equipped the Fronx with a strong list of safety features. Standard equipment includes dual airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-hold assist, and rear parking sensors. It also gets load-limiter seatbelt pretensioners, seatbelt reminders, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a speed alert system. Select variants offer a 360-degree camera, side and curtain airbags, reverse parking camera, and an auto-dimming IRVM. These features aim to enhance both active and passive safety for all occupants.
