How is the increase of 25 percent implemented?
For information, let us tell you that on 19 July 2017, dearness allowance was increased by more than 50 percent through the Ministry of Finance. After this, the special allowance automatically increased by 25 percent. A separate order is not required for this allowance. Under this rule, Tough Location Allowances 1, 2, and 3 have been amended. No amendment of any kind was made before this.

Know when the new rates will be applicable
However, the order for this increase has been issued now, but its benefit will be available from January 1, 2024. This means that the employees will also be provided with arrears of about one and a half years. This amount will be transferred in a lump sum to the account of the employees.
