For those who want a little premium feel, the dual tone variant is available for ₹ 77,698. At the same time, for riders who prioritize safety, the variant with disc brake is available for ₹ 81,589. All these prices are ex-showroom and may vary slightly in different cities. Buyers can also opt for easy instalments, with EMIs starting at ₹2,566 per month.

Design and Colour Options
The TVS Star City Plus stands out on the roads with its stylish and aerodynamic design. The bike is available in 7 attractive colours, including Black Red, Black Red (Dual Tone), Grey Black, Blue Silver, Black Blue, Grey Black (Disc) and Black Red (Disc). The dual tone variant is especially appealing to the youth, while the mono tone variant is better for those who prefer a classic look. The build quality and finishing of the bike is also very good, which ensures long-lasting performance.
Engine and Performance
Talking about the engine, the 109.7cc BS6 engine gives the TVS Star City Plus a power of 8.08 bhp and a torque of 8.7 Nm. It comes with a 4-speed manual transmission which is perfect for city driving. The bike has a top speed of 90 kmph which makes it perfect for the city. The engine is tuned in such a way that the need for frequent gear changes in traffic is reduced and offers a comfortable riding experience. However, this bike is not that suitable for highway riding.
Mileage and Fuel Efficiency
The biggest highlight of the TVS Star City Plus is its excellent mileage. As per the company’s claim, this bike gives a mileage of up to 70 kmpl, while in real conditions it gives a mileage of up to 62-65 kmpl. With a fuel tank of 10 liters, this bike can cover a long distance on a single fuel fill, making it ideal for everyday commuters. The engine also features an economy mode which helps in delivering better mileage.
Safety and Braking System
In terms of safety, the TVS Star City Plus is available with both drum and disc brake systems. The base model has drum brakes at both the front and rear, while the disc variant gets a disc brake at the front. The bike also gets a Combined Braking System (CBS) that offers better control while braking. The 130 mm front brake and rear drum brake are sufficient for city speeds. The bike weighs just 115 kg, which makes it lightweight and easy to handle.
Comfort and riding experience
The low seat height of 785 mm makes the TVS Star City Plus ideal for short riders. The seat design is quite comfortable and suitable for long distance rides. The telescopic front suspension and the back suspension with 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers absorb road bumps with ease. The ground clearance of 172 mm is adequate for Indian roads. However, this bike is not that comfortable for long distance rides on the highway.

Warranty and Maintenance
Talking about the warranty, the TVS Star City Plus comes with a long warranty of 5 years or 60,000 km (whichever is earlier) which shows its reliability. The first service should be done after 500-750 km or 30 days. The second service should be done after 2500-3000 km or 90 days, the third service should be done after 5000-6000 km or 180 days and the fourth service should be done after 8500-9000 km or 12000 days. TVS has a service network spread across India which makes maintenance easy. Spare parts are also easily available and affordable.
