Whenever Bajaj makes a new move in the automobile world, there is a stir in the market. This time something similar is going to happen. Bajaj Auto is preparing to land its new Pulsar 350 and Dominar 350 on Indian roads very soon. Interestingly, these two bikes will not be just new names, but will be part of a brand new 350cc engine strategy, which may determine the direction of the three brands Bajaj, Triumph and KTM in the coming times.

Engine
Bajaj Auto is currently working on a new 350cc engine platform. This engine isn’t entirely new, but rather a slightly “reshaped” version of the existing 373cc motor. The stroke will remain the same, but the bore size will be reduced, bringing the engine’s total capacity to around 350cc.
Pulsar 350
The name Pulsar is not just a bike for Indian youth, but an emotion. Even in Pulsar 350, Bajaj does not appear to be in the mood to perform much. Apart from the engine, no major mechanical changes are expected at the moment.

Design and overall feel will advance the same sporty DNA of Pulsar that people have liked for years. Simply put, the Pulsar 350 will be the same old friend, with just a little more mature and refined personality.

Dominar 350
It has been almost nine years since Dominar was launched and the bike has not seen major changes in such a long time. Now that a new 350cc opportunity is up front, it is expected that Bajaj will not be limited to just the engine this time.

The Dominar 350 may see better electronic rider aids, new styling touch and most urgent kerb weight reduction. If this happens, Dominar may once again present a strong claim in the touring segment.
