The Andhra Pradesh government has given good news by transferring Rs 7,000 each to about 47 lakh farmers under the Annadaata Sukhibhava Yojana. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 20,000 is given to farmers every year.

A day earlier, on Saturday, the Chandrababu Naidu government released Rs 5000 out of Rs 7000 to several lakh farmers. The remaining amount of Rs 2,000 has been released through PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The central and state governments are running some important schemes for the welfare of farmers, which are also getting benefits on a large number of people.
The central government gives three instalments annually.
For information, let us tell you that the central government gives an instalment of Rs 2,000 every four months under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. It means that every year Rs 6,000 is released in three instalments of Rs 2,000. The government has so far released Rs 40,000 in 20 instalments of Rs 2,000. The benefit of the instalments is available only to the farmer who fulfils the conditions of the scheme.
Farmers need to get this work done
To avail the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers need to get work done like e-KYC and land verification. Apart from this, it is also necessary to link your Aadhaar card with your bank account. If this is not done, the instalment money gets stuck.
