PM Internship Scheme 2025: The registration process for PM Internship Scheme 2025 is going to start by the Government of India. This scheme has been created to provide internship opportunities to the youth. This scheme has been specially designed for those youth who want to learn skills and or come from poor families. The main objective of the scheme is that the youth who have completed or are doing their studies should get work experience.

Under this, companies will provide training and experience to the selected youth in a working environment, which will enhance their skills. Currently, it has been started as a pilot project and in the first phase, a target has been set to benefit 1.25 lakh youth.

Click on the Register tab on the home page of the website.

Fill the required information in the registration form here and submit it.

System will generate a resume based on the given input.

You can now apply for up to 5 internships based on location, sector, role and study type.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have completed 10th, 12th, ITI, Polytechnic or Diploma can apply.

Those youth who are new graduates from any institute can also join it.

Candidates having ITI degree can apply. They must have Matriculation (10th) along with trade certificate.

Candidates having 12th pass with diploma from AICTE recognized institute can apply.

Bachelor degree holders, who have a graduation degree from a university recognized by UGC/AICTE, can apply.

The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 24 years. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category will get age relaxation.

 

What are the benefits of PM Internship Scheme?

The interns will receive a scholarship of Rs 5,000 every month, so that they can meet their small expenses.

Apart from this, Rs 6,000 will be given separately in one go, which is given for other expenses incurred during the internship. The biggest advantage is that by working in big and good companies, you get a chance to understand the work culture.

How is the selection done?

Candidates registered for internship are selected on the basis of the preferences filled and the requirements of the companies. After looking at these applications and biodata, companies send internship offers through the website. Candidates who are selected can accept the offer online. Candidates from SC, ST, OBC and Divyang categories are given priority.
