PM Kisan Yojana– Big news for crores of Indian Farmers. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is one of the important schemes of the Central Government to provide assistance to farmers across the country. Launched in 2019, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) is a central government scheme that provides Rs 6,000 annual income support to eligible farmers.
This amount is transferred directly to the bank accounts of beneficiaries every four months in three equal installments of ₹ 2,000. So far 19th installment has reached the account of beneficiary farmers. Now crores of farmers are waiting for the 20th installment. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Agriculture has made a tweet on X today.
What did the Agriculture Ministry say?
The Ministry of Agriculture in one of its tweets today on Sunday, July 27, through a quiz post asked the users which ministry operates the PM Kisan Yojana? Four options have also been given for this. These are as follows – Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Food Processing. Let us tell you that earlier in one of its tweets, the Ministry of Agriculture had advised the beneficiaries of PM Kisan to be alert and check the updates.
When will the 20th installment come?
According to different media reports, the next installment of PM Kisan can be released on August 2. Actually, on this day, a big program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to be held in Varanasi. In this, a gift of Rs 1 thousand crore will be given to UP. It is believed that the 20th installment of PM Kisan can also be released on this occasion.
However, the official announcement is yet to be made. Farmers should keep an eye on pmkisan.gov.in for the date. Let us tell you that usually these installments are released at an interval of four months – in February, June and October. However, the 20th installment has been delayed.
