PMVBRY- Good news for jobseekers. Of these, 1.92 crore beneficiaries will join the workforce for the first time. The scheme will be applicable to jobs that will be created between August 1, 2025 and July 31, 2027. The employment-related incentive scheme ‘PM Vikas Bharat Rozgar Yojana’ will come into effect from August 1, 2025. The Ministry of Labor said on Friday that the scheme aims to encourage job creation in the country.

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently approved the PM Vikas Bharat Rozgar Yojana. The Ministry of Labor said that with a budget of Rs 99,446 crore, PMVBRY aims to create more than 3.5 crore jobs in two years.

Special focus on manufacturing

This scheme encourages employers to create new jobs. It has a special focus on the manufacturing sector. The scheme is divided into two parts. Part-A focuses on employees joining the workforce for the first time, while Part-B focuses on employers.

Under Part-A, employees registering for the first time with the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) will be offered EPF salary up to Rs 15,000. Only employees with monthly salary up to Rs 1 lakh will be able to avail the benefits of this scheme. All payments under the scheme will be made through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode, making the process simple and transparent. Under Part-B, payments will be made directly to the account linked to the PAN of the employers.
