Splendor: June 2025 brought some big shifts in India’s two-wheeler market. While some bikes lost their grip, one budget-friendly motorcycle stunned everyone by taking the top sales spot. Its strong demand, especially in small towns and rural areas, helped it outshine big names like Apache and Pulsar, making it the top-selling two-wheeler of the month.
Hero Splendor
Hero Splendor once again proved why it’s a favourite across India. In June 2025, Hero sold 3,31,057 units of the Splendor, more than any other two-wheeler in the country. Compared to the same month last year, sales grew by 8.34%, showing that the bike’s popularity is still strong. Even in a competitive market, Splendor stood firm, thanks to its reputation and trust among buyers.
Why Hero Splendor Is in High Demand
The Hero Splendor has always been a bike that delivers what Indian riders need: strong mileage, a reliable engine, and low maintenance. It’s easy to handle, works well on rough roads, and is ideal for daily commuting. Whether it’s a student, a working professional, or someone in a village needing a tough and fuel-efficient ride, the Splendor fits the bill. It also comes in multiple engine options – 100cc, 110cc, and 125cc, giving users flexibility based on their needs.
Other Top-Selling Two-Wheelers in June-July 2025
While Splendor took the top spot, Honda Activa was in second place with 1,83,265 units sold. However, its sales dropped by 21.47% compared to last year, possibly due to rising competition in the scooter segment. In third place came Honda Shine, which sold 1,34,817 units, a slight dip of 3.42% from the previous year. TVS Jupiter impressed with a 49.76% jump in sales, reaching 1,07,980 units.
Where Apache and Pulsar Stand Now
TVS Apache, once a popular pick among youth, managed 41,386 units in June, which is a 11.37% increase from last year. Bajaj Pulsar, however, saw a drop. It sold 88,452 units, a 20.39% decrease in year-on-year sales. This drop allowed Splendor to widen the gap and steal the spotlight in this segment.
