The Election Commission has shared big information on the voter list intensive revision. According to the Election Commission, during the intensive examination, 18 lakh voters have been found dead, whose names were included in the voter list. Investigation revealed that 26 lakh such voters have been identified who have reached outside Bihar or in other assembly constituencies.

7 lakh people have got their votes registered at two places, which is a violation of the rules. Considering all these reasons, the names of 51 lakh people have been removed from the voter list of the Bihar Assembly elections. The Commission informed that in the survey conducted till July 21, 11000 voters were found who did not have any information.

How many people have filled out the forms?

According to the Election Commission, 97.30 per centof t people have filled their forms in the special intensive revision campaign. Out of 7.89 crore registered voters in Bihar, 97.30% have filled and submitted their counting forms so far. The forms will be included in the initial voter list to be released on August 1, 2025.

According to the report, a total of 2.70% voters have not yet submitted the forms. The commission has made extensive efforts to make this process transparent and inclusive. A large number of employees have been deployed in this campaign of the Election Commission. Aadhar card, ration card and voter ID have not been considered quality documents for this.
