Maruti Suzuki Brezza:SUVs still hold the Indian roads, and one model has now captured the leading position in terms of sales. The favorite SUV outdid even the dominance of Nexon and Punch in June, catching many by surprise with the increasing demand.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza has become the highest sold SUV in June, outdoing both Tata Nexon and Punch in terms of sales every month. Official data put the year-on-year growth of Brezza at 10.14%. In June 2024, 13,172 units were retailed, and this picked up to 14,507 units in June 2025. This consistent growth reflects the growing choice of customers towards Brezza. Its ex-showroom price in Delhi is between ₹8.69 lakh and ₹13.98 lakh, which makes it a competitive option for most SUV buyers.
Tata Nexon
One of the most reliable names in the compact SUV category, Tata Nexon, secured the second position in June sales. Still, the SUV experienced a diminution of 3.85% in its year-over-year sales volume. While 12,066 units were retailed in June last year, the figure fell to 11,602 units in June 2025. Both ICE and EV versions are included in the data. The prices begin from ₹7.99 lakh for the ICE version and ₹12.49 lakh for the electric variant (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Tata Punch
Tata Punch, despite its popularity among hatchback SUV customers, experienced a shocking decline in sales. In comparison to last June, when 18,238 units were registered, just 10,446 units were sold in June 2025. This represents a drastic drop of 42.72% in its annual performance. Both the ICE and EV models are included in the sales figure. The Punch ICE variant begins at ₹6.13 lakh, and the electric model begins at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Brezza Emerges Top Choice for Buyers
Maruti Brezza’s sales increase indicates its steady market position. In contrast, rivals experienced a decline, while Brezza’s growth indicates that customers are giving greater trust to its performance, value, and brand consistency. With competitive pricing and rising demand, it has decidedly emerged as a leading choice among SUV buyers in India.
