Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana started on 24 February 2019. So far, 19 instalments have been given under this scheme. Now, farmers are waiting for the 20th instalment. Under this scheme, farmers get ₹6,000 every year. This amount is given in three equal parts of ₹2,000 each. The money is directly transferred to the farmers’ bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Each instalment is given every four months in a year.
20th Instalment Is Late
Till now, 19 installments of the PM Kisan Yojana have been given. The 19th instalment came on 24 February. The 20th instalment was expected in June, but it did not come. This is not the first time the PM Kisan installment is late. In the past also, some instalments were also delayed.
Will the 20th Installment Come in August?
It is possible that the 20th instalment may come in August. Earlier also, some instalments were given in August. The 6th installment was released on 9 August 2020. The 9th installment was given on 10 August 2021.
Why Is the Instalment Late?
The PM Kisan instalment comes every four months. Since the 19th installment came in February, the 20th was expected in June. But it has not come yet. Now people are saying that Prime Minister Modi is visiting Bihar on 18 July. He may release the 20th instalment from there. Also, elections will be held in Bihar later this year. So, this may be a reason for the delay.

- Select Beneficiary Status
- Enter your Aadhaar number, bank account number, or mobile number
- Fill in the captcha code and click Get Data
- If asked, enter the OTP sent to your phone
- After this, you will see your installment details on the screen.
